I love Heartfelt Creations Sparkling Poinsettias!

This XL 9"x10 1/2" card is over the top glitzy, I think! I stamped. embossed in silver then cut out the HC Sparkling Poinsettias and leaves.  I used HC Decorative Blossom Corner (HCD 729) die cut for the corners using DCWV Red shimmer paper.  I used double sided tape on bottom layer and sprinkled a garnet/red glitter from my stash.  I embossed the white layer with Creative Expressions Fine Finials Embossing folder.  I used the HC Arianna Lace in silver foiled cardstock tucked around for added glamour.

I also used Creative Expressions  Finshing Touches-Swirly Leaf Trio around the card in silver foil also.
Then I built up the centres of the card with hot glue and dumped some silver gala glitz on top and tapped it to adhere to the glue.   I found some old wired pearls that I had bought 20 years ago when I made up my wedding bouquet.  I tirled them among the poinsettias.  I cut out a saying from HC paper pack and lightly edged the sentiment  with TH Aged Mohogany.
Thanks for looking! Blessings to you and your loved ones!

Heartfelt Creations Snow Kissed Frolicking Frosties

I used a base card of 9"x10 1/2".  I layered silver card and DCWV metallic blue.  I used Nuvo Crystal Drops in silver for the edge dots.  I used the Heartfelt Creations Iced Spruce and both HC Frolicking Frosties with silver emboss and die cut them out with the coordinating die cut.  I used Aleene's Glitter Snow and sprinkled a tiny bit of ArtBin's Glass Shards for a little more glitz on the snow drift.  I used some of the shards as accents on the snowmen.

Blessings to you and your loved ones!

Heartfelt Creations Celebrate the Season XL Card

I used the Heartfelt Creations Celebrate the Season Collection making up this card.  I used the paper pad with all the embelishments that I die cut out with the coordinating die cuts in the collection.  I stamped the background in Memento navy using the Snow Kissed Flakes stamp.  I used lots of foam dots to give added dimension and interest.  The spruce are also stamped in Memento Navy as well as the Merry Christmas sentiment.
I used the Nuvo Crystal Drops in Silver for the edges of the centre part.  I also used Faber-Castell Glass Bead Glitter Gel for the snow.  I love this stuff as it is very dimentional and sparkly!
The stamps are listed below.

Heartfelt Creations sleigh and presents

I used gold mirror card and made a frame using Creative Expressions Shadow Box collection A & B.  I used the largest die and then 2 sizes down for the largest frame. I then used the next size down and the same size frame for the inside.  I layered up the frames with foam for dimension.
I made the large centre frame using Nuvo Crystal Drops in Buttermilk gloss.  The outside measurement of the card are 9"x10 1/2".
Here are the stamps I used.  I embossed them with gold and die cut each out using the coordinating die from Heartfelt Creations.

Love and blessings to you and your loved ones!

Peace XL Card featuring Heartfelt Creations

I have been working on Christmas cards for my DH's co-workers and friends.
Again with the oversized card of 9"x10 1/2"...
I layered it with the white cardstock and silver cardstock.  Around the edge I used Nuvo Crystal Drops in White gloss.  I cut out the Spellbinders Peace (S2-120) in silver and layered it over the Spellbinder's Circle Delight (S4-511) done in white.  I stamped and embossed the Heartfelt Creations Snow-kissed Spruce (see below) in silver, cut out with the coordinating die then popped the two largest spruce up on foam for more dimension.
One the middle white layer I added double sided tape to the edges and sprinkled them with ArtBin's Glass Shards.  They are a bit sharp so be careful burnishing it.  I got one stuck in my finger. owww!
I did this one in black and gold and used Nuvo Crystal Drops in black gloss enamel instead of white.  I can't decided what I like more!
The white centre layer is done in 2 stages.  First I used double sided tape that I then sprinkled a white glitter.  Then I added Nuvo White glass enamel drops around the edge.

This stamp and coordinating die set were used in all the cards.

Finally back!

Hello fellow crafters!
I am finally done with all the remodeling in our kitchen.  It ended up being a bit more involved that what my DH and I anticipated.  Several months of "I can't believe this...it was supposed to be easier"!!!
Then my DH built me an incredible craft table.  I can't tell you how happy I am with that!!  And I get to stand when I craft as I have problems with my back (another story later) so this just made me so happy.  I do have a bar stool but it seems like it is just in the way most of the time.
We bought 4 8-cube bookcases and one 4-cube bookcase.  We used the 4-cube and 2 8-cube bookcases for the table.  It is mounted onto wheels so I can push it around if I need to move it.  I used the remaining 2 8-cube bookcases to make a shelf that I can put stuff on.
This is my little area of happiness!
Now onto what I have been making on my craft table...

I started making this oversized "cards" as a little joke and it spiraled into more and more being made.  The size is 9"x10 1/2".  Yes, very large!  I will start with the Christmas cards that I have been creating.

I used the DCVW Elegant Holidays to make this card.  The top and background paper are from the pack.  I used a Creative Expression Eternity embossing folder for a layer that I rubbed Nuvo silver embellishment mousse then buffed it to make it shiny.  A layer of silver cardstock was layered behind the top card and I used foam squares to give the card an added dimension.  I used Spellbinders 2010 Heirloom Ornament die cuts using the two largest dies to make the bauble.  I topped it with a large  Recollections pearl and a beaded spray I found in the wedding section.  The sheer silver ribbon was from my stash which I think I bought many years ago at a Walmart. The sparkler on the bow was from Recollections I think.  I received them as a gift so I am not quite sure.

The stand I made with a 4 1/2" sheet of extra heavy paper that is 12" long.  I scored it on the long side at 1/2" and 2 1/2" and 4'1/2" and then at 11 1/2".  I used a Heartfelt Creations die cut to make a pocket in case I want to put a gift card in it.  I may put a little saying on the back also...if I decide to give it as a gift.  It is so hard for me to give my creations away!
Many blessings to you and your loved ones!

My dearest crafty family,
So sorry about the long absence.....My computer found a nasty, nasty virus.
I worked for several days as I didn't want to admit to DH that I downloaded (by accident) a program and it had a little surprise piggybacking on it.  I finally went to my DH (2 months later) and asked if he could fix my computer.  He worked on it for an entire day.  And a few hours the next to make sure that my computer was clean.  I know that DH is one of the best IT fixers (that's his day job in the military!) and this virus was super stubborn.  And then my laptop was infected....no clue ;-)...THEN.....
My hard drive blew and it took me a long time to get a new one.  Then my beloved hubby found me one.  That hard drive lasted an hour.  I was devastated.  How is it possible that I ruined 2 hard drives???  Well, finally with a little digging in the hubby found an old one that was forgotten.  Well, it wasn't as great as the one that I had but I am past being picky!!  Thank you for hanging in there with me with your support.  I appreciate you!!  Blessings to you and the loved ones!~~J
