Plain and simple birthday cards

 I used the DCWV Royal Garden Mat Stack to make these two cards.  I used Deco corner chomper on the corners to make them a little more elegant.  I layered the paper on Mirror Gold cardstock.  I have no idea where I got it but I think it was from Creative Memories years ago.  I embossed the birthday sentiment on shimmer paper that I bought in bulk at Michael's.  I used the Spellbinders Labels 8 and dies to cut out the sentiment.  I used Spellbinders S5-148 and S5-208 and used gold mirror paper for behind the sentiment.
The sentiment is layered up for a nice effect.  Plain and simple yet elegant.
